My Internet Nightmare

Prior to this time all i thought was that everybody on internet are decent people who have their personality and dignity to protect not until I came across this investment nightmare that called themselves automatedforexmoney.com whom i lost 550 US dollars to in a week.
It all began when i was in National Youth Service corps orientation camp in kubwa Abuja Nigeria. On that faithful group of men came to the camp to enlighten us on investment opportunities on internet particularly in forex trading. They spoke to us about it in such a manner that one can never loss a penny once you have been trained, but they never discuss the risk involved in it, so with that they captured everybody attention especially myself, i was so intrigued by this new opportunity i have just discovered. So i took it upon myself as task to look for every means to become a forex literate.
Actually before this time, all i do on internet was to send mails, check my mail box, browse for few schools in abroad and chat on yahoo chat. I have a long list of friends in my yahoo chat which make become so addicted to chatting on yahoo messenger such that i pay hard money to browse everyday so that when i logon the first thing i do is to look for somebody to chat with. During this period i have so many friends both here in Nigeria and abroad that we exchange phone numbers and call each other often and it was all fun.
I was first introduced to internet in my first year in the university my a friend called Abdulmalik. He help me out with the opening of my first email box and he also thought me how to browse websites. By then i was so slow in typing so it was so boring for me but i was eager to learn so i buy time everyday to practise. Soon i became an improved typist and it being a wonderful experience especially during chatting.
As i said earlier my internet nightmare began in NYSC orientation camp when i was introduced to online investment. My eagerness and passion to make money through this online investment led to meet a man call Stephen who called himself a forex guru. Stephen offered to train me in forex for NGN 13000 which i paid and the training began. The training lasted for eight days after which i thought i had known everything about forex. But unknowingly to me that a lot is involved much more than what Stephen had thought me. Funny enough i do not know that Stephen himself has lost a lot of money forex trading and that is why he decided to go into training people to make up for his losses.
In nutshell, after my training i quickly gather money to first open a domiciliary account with Intercontinental Bank Plc and i then wire two hundred dollars into my fxpro account that i opened earlier with the aid of Stephen. Fxpro is a forex trader company so i used their platform to trade why they deduct their own commission. Unfortunately, my trading experience was a bitter one as i lost my first investment in a week. As if that is not enough, i lost the second and third investment money too in a very short period. So i decided to quit believing forex trading is not my way.
One day when i was searching for other money making opportunities through google search. I came across this company that called themselves automatedforexmoney.com. They claimed to be a forex investor company and offer high percentage in return for your investment. But unknowingly to me that they are scam. I mean a big time scammer; that is what they are. They have strategies which they use:
1 They offer high percentage in return for your investment.
2 In their webpage they display a false platform they claimed is automated and that you can download it but you will never be able to download it.
3 They have different investment plans which range from 50, 500 and 5000 US dollars with enticing returns, So that the higher you invest the higher your returns.
4 Now this is how they operate; when you invest small amount of money like 50 dollars, they will remit your interest into your account and you will be able to withdrawal anytime. This for them to win your trust. But once you invest huge money like 500 US dollars and more, then you will never be able to withdrawal.
With the above strategies my automatedforexmoney became my ‘automatedforexnightmare’. First I invest 50 US dollars and I was able to withdraw 62 dollars in just three days. So i decided why can i put my last saving in it after all i will make multiple of it in few days. So, in the fourth day i quickly go to bank empty my account and deposit it into a friend account who helped me in purchasing Liberty Reserve for. Liberty Reserve is electronics money used in online transaction.
Without wasting much time my friend sent the e-money into my Liberty Reserve account and there i quickly remit it into my automatedforexmoney.com‘s account. Then, there come the trouble. First this scam of a website scraped my IP address off their system so i couldn’t access their website through my laptop. So i decided to go to commercial internet operator. There i was able to access the website so i request withdrawal and not long from that time i receive an email from them that my withdrawal request has been sent, but when check my Liberty Reserve account to my surprise there was no money there. Until date i have sent well over ten emails to them but there was no response.
In conclusion, i want to advise fellow innocent internet users to be very careful of the kind of online investment they go into. Though there are few genuine one online but you have to look before you leap, because till this moment i am still trying to recover from what i call my ‘automatedforexnightmare.’
